| My art instruction website is under construction, but it consists of two main subjects: watercolor instruction (watercolor lesson e-books which are printable and loaded with pictures), and crochet patterns (a few free thread crochet patterns and patterns for simple thread crochet ornaments and purses. I love both fine art and thread crochet, the former is my passion and life's work. The latter is my hobby, and I'm crazy about it!. So check out these links, they include discussions on watercolor landscapes and demonstrations of watercolor florals. The crochet section includes lots of thread crochet patterns: Christmas crochet patterns - crocheted snowflakes and crosses - as well as deceptively simple crochet jewelry pattern instructions : beautiful thread crochet crosses and other pendants you can make in half an hour. These things are all close to my heart and I hope you will enjoy looking at them and using them. Arts and Crafts have a back-to-basics cleansing function in our lives, and they can be a way to find a positive attitude, purge yourself of stress, and best of all, express your uniqueness as an individual. One of the best things about the fine arts and crafts as well, is the way that they give you an abundant supply of gifts for your loved ones. | Both Susan's "Watercolor Inspiration" book and its excerpts (on the right), the Orchid and Rhododendron chapters, contain many color photos of Susan's step by step watercolor paintings as they progress. Susan's watercolor painting instruction in this material constists of an introduction, a discussion of watercolor materials, and 12 watercolor demonstrations which break down Susan's process as she approches a floral or landscape subject in watercolor. Susan's ebook is not so much watercolor lessons as it is technical advice on achieving particular colors, layers, and effects in watercolor realism. To learn watercolor is to take the process of painting and break it down into layers and steps, and this watercolor instruction book (or rather watercolor instruction ebook) is a look at how a watercolor realist approaches the technical challenges of painting. A beginning watercolorist can benefit from looking at the stages of painting, and the intermediate watercolor painter will be able to gain technical knowledge of Susan's process and color mixtures.
