| Oil and Watercolor Painting Classes by Susan in Cumming, Georgia! Georgia artist Susan Kennedy is teaching classes in oil at the Cumming Hobby Lobby (map) and teaching classes in oil and watercolor at The Etiquette School in Cumming. (map) Sign up now by email for these weekly workshops exploring the process of painting as you work on the subject of your choice with Susan. Cost varies according to location (see below). Homeschool students, adults, teenagers, all (13 or over) are welcome! Painting and Drawing Classes at the Etiquette School: (map of 514 W. Maple St, Cumming GA) Watercolor Landscape for Adults and Teens / Drawing for Adults and Teens / Ebay and Etsy Workshop for Adults and Teens (getting your art online) : special 4- week sessions.are being assembled now! This class will be for beginners as well as intermediate level watercolorists. It will likewise feature a materials and technique segment, as well as painting time for a landscape painted with Susan. Bring any watercolor materials you have, and feel free to share Susan's paints and brushes for the first session if you are unsure what to buy. (call 678-208-2880 to check on session availability and to reserve a spot) Hobby Lobby classes: (classroom is located at the back of the store map to Cumming Hobby Lobby) Painting Landscape in Oil : Wednesdays 1- 3 PM Classes resuming soon! This beginner-to-intermediate class focuses on landscapes ranging from seascapes to mountains and North Georgia scenes. Work alongside Susan on the demo of the day, or feel free to bring your own reference material and paint from it with Susan's help. $15 per class At the Hobby Lobby Classes you may pay by cash or check only when you come to the class, and bring any painting materials you have, as well as any photos or still life objects you would like to work from. Many may wish to purchase materials at the Hobby Lobby immediately before class, and Susan will be there 20 minutes early to help with this. If you do not own an oil paint set and some basic brushes and canvases, plan on about $30 to $80 on materials. If you're not sure what type of oils you wish to purchase, you may feel free to use Susan's paints and brushes for an extra $3 fee.
