This eBook is my first in-depth discussion of my approach to watercolor florals. If sized to 8 1/2” x 11”, it would be more than 70 pages long, has more than 80 photos of watercolor technique and paintings as they progress. It’s full of my notes on watercolor materials, explanations and even a couple of video clips of watercolor technique, and photo (and text) demonstrations of how to tackle a watercolor floral or still life. The eBook is broken down into three sections: Section One is an introduction, a list of watercolor painting supplies and a lengthy discussion (with photos) of traditional watercolor technique. Section Two is a collection of five lengthy watercolor exercises which will help a painter to warm up and develop skills (for example, illustrated notes on painting grass, painting trees on a wet-into-wet sky, painting a wet-into-wet flower, and painting an apple or leaf with different layers.) Section Three is a collection of five in-depth step-by-step painting demonstrations of how I painted five florals/still lifes, complete with notes on choices and technique as well as photos of the paintings as they progressed.
